The ROCG’s primary role is to provide training and contribute in the professional development for not only gynaecologists and obstetricians but also for other healthcare professionals who work in women’s health. MROCG examination is a three-part assessment: MRCOG part 1, MRCOG part 2, and MRCOG part 3.

For membership, applicants are needed:

MRCOG 1st part exam format-
It consists of 2 written papers and each consist of 100 single best answer questions
Both papers have the same value. There isn’t any minimum score needed for each one. The result is determined considering the overall score.
Duration for each paper is for 2:30 Hours.
MRCOG 2nd part exam format-
To attempt this, 1st part should be cleared.
2 written papers are there and each counts the same value.
Both papers are of 3 hours and the candidate needs to answer 50 single best answer questions and 50 extended matching questions.
MRCOG 3rd part exam format-
You can sit in this once cleared 2nd part. The aim of this part is to assess clinical skills, attitudes, and competencies.
The assessment consists of 14 tasks and each is based on 14 modules.
Each module is assessed against 5 criteria-
