Who organizes this examination?
OET was set up by Prof Tim McNamara. It was setup under the supervision of the Australian NOOSR in the late 1980s. NOOSR was the first one to carry out this examination. OET exam dates-
OET for nurses and various other healthcare professionals are available in 120 locations across 40 nations. OET is conducted 14 times a year. Similarly, in India, OET is also conducted 14 times and is available in popular provinces namely Thiruvananthapuram, Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Amritsar, Chennai, Mumbai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Coimbatore, and Bangalore.
Although OET exam dates 2021 are available every month, applicants can enrol for subsequently for three test OET exam dates at a time.

- Listening- this section is divided into 3 parts which test the listening ability in several formats (45 minutes test)
- Reading- this section is divided into 3 parts which test the candidates reading ability in numerous formats (60 minutes)
- Writing- this is profession-specific and needs applicants to write a letter of reference (45 minutes)
- Speaking- it is profession-specific and needs applicants to enact a role-play from healthcare surrounding (20 minutes)
